MUSKOGEE 50, SAPULPA 15 – Led by five wrestlers who pinned their opponents, the Roughers dominated the Chieftains in a district dual on Friday.

Freshman Darius Lewis bumped up from 160 pounds to 170 and recorded Muskogee’s first pin on the night in the second period of his bout. Cori Andrews (195), Elijah Pettey (220), Adonis Cole (Hvy.) and Xavion Taylor (120) were the other four Roughers who recorded pins. The dual meet started at the 126-pound class.

Two Roughers recorded major decisions with Jacobe Smith winning at 160 and James Buckhanan at 182. Winners by decision for Muskogee were Xavier Taylor at 132, Gustavo Huerta at 138, Dawaylon Barnes at 145 and Shawn Tillman at 106.
