SEQUOYAH 58, CASCIA HALL 48 – The Sequoyah Indians overcame a five-point halftime deficit, taking control of the game in the third quarter, to outlast Cascia Hall

Sequoyah (6-1) was led by Caisen Green with 20 points while B.J. Leach finished with 11. The Indians begin play in the Bedouin Shrine Classic at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Muskogee Civic Center against McAlester.

KANSAS 71, HULBERT 50 – The Hulbert Riders could not overcome an 11-point halftime deficit in falling to Kansas on Saturday.

Rico Wynn led the Riders (4-2) with 23 points while Mason Fielden finished with 14 points.

Hulbert plays Summit Christian at 9 p.m. Tuesday at Muskogee High School in the Shrine Classic.

Girls

SEQUOYAH 69, CASCIA HALL 49 – The Lady Indians held a 39-30 lead at halftime and pulled away in the fourth quarter to down Cascia Hall.

The Lady Indians (6-1) had three players finish in double figures with Audrey Ballou leading the way with 19 points. Jhonett Cookson was right behind with 17 points while Cenia Hayes finished with 13 points.

Sequoyah is off until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when it begins play in the Bedouin Shrine Classic at Muskogee High School against Cookson Hills.

KANSAS 63, HULBERT 28 – The Lady Riders fell behind by 19 points at the half and could never catchup in their loss to Kansas.

Hulbert (4-2) was led by Megan Cox who finished with eight points.

The Lady Riders are next on the court at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Muskogee Civic Center in the Bedouin Shrine Classic against Spiro.
