Baseball

VIAN 13, GORE 1 –
Shawn Troutman (2-0) led the Vian Wolverines to a win over the Gore Pirates behind his five strikeouts. Troutman was 2-for-3 for Vian (5-1) with two RBIs while Rylee Simon was 3-for-3 with six RBIs.

STIGLER 4, EUFAULA 3 – The Stigler Panthers (3-3) dropped the Eufaula Ironheads behind Brooks King’s first home run of the year in the top of the sixth. Winning pitcher for Stigler was Austan Drewry (2-0) while Trey Moore took the loss for Eufaula. The Ironheads were led by Colin Walsh who was 3-for-4.

WARNER 13, GANS 0 – The Eagles won behind Levi Jones (2-0), who threw a three-inning no-hitter and struck out 4. at the Okay tournament on Tuesday. The top hitters for Warner (4-1)  were Tim Smithson who was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Justin Wright had a triple and two RBIs.

The Eagles continue tournament play Friday at Okay playing at 1:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

Soccer

SUMMIT CHRISTIAN 10, PORTER 2 –
The Lady Pirates (0-2-1) couldn’t overcome a 5-1 deficit at the half as they dropped a game to Summit Christian.

Scoring for the Lady Pirates was Hannah McCollough and KasaDee Merrill.

Softball

HASKELL 12, KELLYVILLE 6 —
The Lady Haymakers got home runs from Maddie Cheatham, Madeline Hallum and Tashay Love in a six-run, seven-hit fifth inning to beat the Lady Ponies and even their record at 3-3. Victoria Lewis has all of Haskell’s pitching decisions.

Cheatham had two hits for the game, Hallum and Love each had three hits. Love also doubled twice, while Kassie Ridley had three hits including two doubles. Haskell plays Jenks, at 4 p.m. Thursday.

WARNER 14, CENTRAL 4 – The Lady Eagles (5-1) downed Central in six innings in Tuesday’s game.Brandie Center got the win in the circle and improved to 5-1 on the year.Brook Moses of Warner was 3-for-4 with three RBIs while Kristi Milligan was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
