Oktaha softball wins in districts

The Oktaha Lady Tigers swept three games at Salina on Wednesday to advance to the Class 2A regional round, defeating Salina 3-0 and Colcord by scores of 9-1 and 8-1.

Kelsey Cantwell, Bailey Sylva and Shea Lynch all were 3-for-3 against Salina, Cantwell and Lynch each with home runs. Kelly Easterling and Kallee King had two hits.

Cantwell went yard again in the first game with Colcord and again went 3-for-3 while King homered in a 2-for-3 showing. Taylor Pevehouse had two hits in that contest and was 4-for-4 in the final game of the day. Cantwell and Caitlin Sikes both were 2-for-4.
