Fastpitch softball

SEQUOYAH 13, INOLA 0 – Kati Phillips tossed a no-hitter for the 3A No. 1 ranked Lady Indians. Phillips and Sequoyah move to 19-4 on the season. Symphoni Shomo went 3-for-3 with two runs and four RBIs, and Hayleigh Galvin was 2-for-3 with four RBIs as well.

CUSHING 4, OKTAHA 2 — Oktaha had a 2-1 lead through the fifth, but miscues helped Cushing rally for the win. All of the runs against losing pitcher Caitlin Sikes were unearned. She gave up four hits and struck out four.

Cody and Kyle Weidel were 1-for-2 for Oktaha (15-6).

CHECOTAH-VIAN-HEAVENER THREE-WAY — Checotah (19-4) pulled out a pair of wins, defeating Vian 7-4 and Heavener 1-0 on a three-hit shutout by Taylor Davidson, who also won the game against Vian.  Against Vian, Emily Davidson had two hits and drove in three runs while Kelsey Casey also had two hits. Hannah Hagler scored on a second-inning error for the only run of the contest against Heavener. She had two hits on the day.

The Lady Wolverines fell to Heavener in the final game 8-3. Jaden Bolin took the loss in both games and fell to 6-8 on the season as Vian dropped to 7-13. Against Checotah, Callie Mays went 2-for-3 with a double, and in the Heavener game Bolin was 1-for-2.

TAHLEQUAH 10, SKIATOOK 5 – The Lady Tigers moved to 23-1 on the season behind the arm of Lindsay Wade who is 12-1 in the circle. Wade went the distance with eight strikeouts, and gave up just five hits and two earned runs. Randee O’Donnell went 2-for-3 and Courtney Dry was 2-for-4.

WARNER 8, GORE 1 – Zadie McEllhaney got the hitting going for the Lady Eagles going 3-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Warner had 19 hits in the game. Payton Jackson and Raven Girty were both 3-for-4 and Jackson added three RBIs. Cheyenne Miller got the win moving to 7-3 on the season giving up no earned runs. The Lady Eagles are now 13-5 on the season.

Stormie Gates took the loss for the Lady Pirates, falling to 2-9 on the season. The Lady Pirates’ record drops to 3-12. Gates was the leading hitter for Gore going 2-for-3 with an RBI.

HOLDENVILLE 11, EUFAULA 1 – No stats available at press time.

STIGLER 10, CENTRAL 2 – The Lady Panthers moved to 10-7 on the season as Laura Hulsey picked up the win going five innings and striking out four.

PORTER 14, CHOUTEAU 3 – The Lady Pirates were led by Hannah McCullough as she went 2-for-3 with three RBIs on a triple. Cassie Kilgore was 1-for-2 with an RBI. Porter moves to 9-15 on the season as Alexis Riley picked up her first win of the season giving up just one hit in the game.

Volleyball

TAHLEQUAH 3, MCALESTER 0 – The Lady Tigers won their match against the Lady Buffaloes behind 28 service aces. Katie Schneider had 10 aces, while Amanda Milnick had eight. Scores in the match were 25-12, 25-16 and 25-11.

SEQUOYAH 3, SALINA 1 – The 4A No. 4 ranked Lady Indians of Sequoyah move to 18-0 on the season as they win their match with scores of 25-15, 27-25, 14-25 and 25-20. Baylee Herrin had six kills and three blocks. Brittanie Wacoche had four kills and three aces.

OKAY 3, HULBERT 0 – The Lady Mustangs were led by team captain Kelsey Walker as they won with scores of 25-23, 25-12 and 25-13. Robyn Hamner had eight kills while Blake Judkins had 10 aces and Alli Taylor added 8 aces as well.

WESTVILLE 3, WAGONER 1 – The Lady Bulldogs’ match scores were 21-25, 25-11, 25-21 and 25-20. Skylar Bruce led Wagoner with seven assists while Beth Johnson and Bailee Thomas each had two aces.
