Muskogee athletic director to retire

Bobby Jefferson will retire as Muskogee Public Schools athletic director.

Jefferson, who was also the Roughers’ wrestling coach until last August, has been on family medical leave since Sept. 20 and will officially end his tenure with MPS on Nov. 30.

The Muskogee Board of Education is set to approve the retirement at Tuesday’s monthly board meeting.
