AT CROWDER — The Oktaha Tigers face elimination from the postseason after falling to Talihina 12-3 on Thursday in the Class 2A regional in Crowder.

The Tigers (15-10) held a 3-2 lead after three innings when Talihina erupted for six runs in the fourth to grab an 8-3 advantage. Jordan Webb (6-5) suffered the loss and experienced control problems in the fourth inning, walking four batters and hitting two.

Oktaha also struggled at the plate with Dakota Berry and Austin Crowder both went 1-for-3 while Caleb Shoemake was 1-for-4.

The Tigers play Crowder, a 10-0 victim to Tushka, at 2 p.m. today in the loser’s bracket with the winner meeting Talihina, who fell to Tushka 11-1 in the winner’s bracket. Should Talihina win that game, it meets Tushka at 6 p.m. today in the regional final.

If Oktaha or Crowder advances to the regional final against Tushka, that game will be played on Saturday with the time to be determined while the if-necessary follows that.
