MUSKOGEE 10, MOORE 6
Nia Maxwell's RBI double scored Carlee Gann, who singled to lead off the seventh inning, with what proved to be the winning run in a 6-6 game at that point.
Aubrey Johnson followed with an RBI double and a couple more insurance runs came on a fielder's choice groundout by Brooke Hendrickson and a RBI single by Kaitlyn Kaiser.
Muskogee ran off to a 6-0 lead behind the bats of Shaylee Rowland, Dee Emarthle and Kaitlyn Kaiser, all 2-for-2 over the first three innings. In all, the Lady Roughers had 10 hits in that streak.
The Lions chipped away, though. with four in the fifth and two to tie it in the sixth. Five Lions baserunners reached on walks off Rowland.
Muskogee finished with 16 hits.
TAHLEQUAH 10, TECUMSEH 1
Two-run home runs by Kortney Dry and Bub Peters sparked the Lady Tigers, who held Tecumseh hitless through four innings. Tahlequah pitcher Erin Dillard retired Tecumseh in order through three complete before Bailey Smith's leadoff single in the fourth. She would also score to break up the shutout.
Dillard still ended up with a three-hitter. Tecumseh's Skyler Shephard flied out to Tahlequah left fielder Caitlin Chuculate at the wall with two outs in the sixth.
Dry and Lainey Wallace were both 3-for-3.
SEQUOYAH 18, CHANDLER 6
Down 6-2, Sequoyah scored 11 runs in the third. Hayleigh Galvin's grand slam and a two-run home run by Kelsey Leach blew it open, then the Lady Indians finished it with five runs in the fourth for a run-rule win.
The Lady Indians had 16 hits and eight walks.
TAHLEQUAH 16, WESTMOORE 1
It was a mauling from the start.
Tahlequah sent 14 runners to the plate, scoring three home runs in the first. Two were grand slams -- one each by Kortney Dry and Randee O'Donnell. Chase's solo shot followed O'Donnell's.
Dry added a solo shot in the fourth and Chase came back with a three-run blast in the fifth to finish the scoring.
6A: SOUTHMOORE 13, MUSKOGEE 12
Muskogee had a 10-5 lead but an eight-run fifth by the No. 1 team in the state overtook them. The Lady Roughers' Lexi Watson homered twice and senior Shaylee Rowland also went yard in her final game.
5A: SEQUOYAH 14, CACHE 4
Three-run home runs by Hayleigh Galvin and Kelsey Leach got Sequoyah a 9-1 lead in two innings.
