HILLDALE 16, VINITA 3 — Hunter Harrison led a 12-hit Hilldale attack at Vinita going 4-for-5 with a double and triple. Cobly Mullens had three hits in five at-bats.
Hilldale (15-8) scored two in the first, 10 in the third and four in the fifth. Derek Altman scattered six hits, struck out six and walked two in getting the win.
HENRYETTA 8, EUFAULA 2— The Ironheads (11-9) fell to the Knights as Trey Moore (4-4) took the loss. Forrest Paden was 2-for-4 for Eufaula.
BRAGGS 2-8, PORUM 3-2— Landon Lucas hit a two-run single to open up the game for the Wildcats in the fourth en route to a split. Peyton York (5-4) won the second game for Braggs, Brandon Stanfill (4-4) was the loser in game one.
OKTAHA 13, CROWDER 1—The Tigers (11-8) run ruled Crowder in five innings Caleb Shoemake (1-1) was the winning pitcher, he struck out three and gave up three hits on the night. Shoemake went 4-for-4 with four doubles and three RBIs, Justin Capp was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a home run, his first on the year, and Jordan Webb had a two run home run giving him six for the season.
3A QUALIFIERS – The Eufaula Lady Ironheads posted a score of 320 to capture the Class 3A regional qualifier at Cherokee Trails on Tuesday.
Faith Lasiter led the way for Eufaula with a 75 while Heidi Stafford shot at 77. Melissa Eldredge and Hannah Rippy finished with an 84 while Taylor O’Brien carded a 94.
Two other area schools advanced to the regional tournament with the Keys Lady Cougars coming in second in the qualifier while the Sequoyah Lady Indians came in fourth. The top six schools in the qualifier advanced to the regional.
Brooke Short was Keys’ top golfer shooting a 101 followed by Kayla Hunt (102), Kaylee Snyder (104), Ali Nolan (110) and Jessica Johnson (114). For Sequoyah, Taylor Thompson led the way with a 110 while Rain Thompson (113), Rachel Hayes (121) and Aurora Autry (121) rounded out the scoring.
At the qualifier at Henryetta Golf Course, Stigler placed fourth to punch a regional ticket. The Lady Panthers posted a score of 414. Brook Hurst led the Lady Panthers by shooting an 89, tying for fifth in the individual standings. Brooklyn Olzawski (96), Hannah Hurst (114), Ashley Boyd (115) and Tristan Laffon (119) rounded out Stigler’s scoring.
2A REGIONAL QUALIFIER – The Oktaha Lady Tigers, led by Kailey Campbell’s 73, took the team title at the Class 2A regional qualifier at Pryor Creek on Tuesday.
Campbell’s score also captured medalist honors and was followed by Jaylie Roper’s 84, Dakota Deamon’s 104 and Madyson Fox’s 107. Also qualifying for regionals as an individual was Haskell’s Madelyn Hallum with a 97.
MUSKOGEE 15TH — The Lady Roughers were 15th of 18 teams at the Bishop McGuinness tournament on Monday. Hannah Jones shot 88 to lead the team with Haley Schuler (89), Brittany Felts (99), Sydnie Rosson (102) and Katie Matthews (107) following.
FORT GIBSON TAKES SECOND—The Lady Tigers took second at the Roland Invitational shooting a 368. Top indviduals for Fort Gibson were Kadrian Shelton, second with an 84, Emilee Rigsby took third place with an 85 and Savannah Gray’s 94 put her seventh.
FORT GIBSON 5, STILWELL 1 (BOYS) — Johan Chavez and Austin Ford scored first-half goals to lead 2-1 going to the break, then Trent Brown added a pair of goals, one off an assist by Wyatt Abbott, and Levi Ford added a goal.
Daniel Mielnik had two saves on breakaway opportunities by the Indians, one that would have cut it to 3-2.
Fort Gibson moved to 6-2 and 2-1 in District 4A-6. Stilwell is 6-5 and 2-2.
FORT GIBSON 3, STILWELL 1 (GIRLS) — In a battle for the District 4A-6 lead, Gabby Escimilla scored two goals for the Lady Tigers (7-1, 4-0). Brooke Benham scored a goal and assisted Escimilla on her second goal.
HILLDALE 1, PAWHUSKA 0 (GIRLS) —Madison Patterson of the Lady Hornets scored the only goal in the game with 10 minutes left. The Lady Hornets are 4-8 overall and 2-2 in District 4A-8.
KEYS 4, PORTER 1 (GIRLS) —The Lady Pirates (3-8, 1-3 4A-6) fell to Keys (7-2, 3-1) .Tuesday night. Catelyn Van Cleave scored the only goal for Porter and Pirates goalkeeper Kelci Riley had eight saves.
TAHLEQUAH SPLITS — Tahlequah's girls soccer team beat Tulsa Memorial 5-0 on Tuesday night. The Lady Tigers are now 2-3 in District 5A-3 play and 6-6 overall. The Tigers lost to Memorial 4-0. Tahlequah is now 5-6 and 2-3 in league play. Both Tahlequah teams will play at Central on Friday night.
4A DISTRICTS AT WARNER – The Warner Lady Eagles had to go the hard way but captured the Class 4A district championship at Warner on Tuesday.
Warner (20-7) began the day with an 8-0 win over Hulbert. After Quinton eliminated Hulbert 6-5 in 10 innings, the Lady Savages came back to drop the Lady Eagles 2-1. Warner returned the favor by beating Quinton 3-2, forcing the if-necessary game, and won the district title by beating Quinton 6-3.
Brandie Center pitched all four games and ran her record to 20-7 on the year. Raven Girty led the Lady Eagles by going 8-for-10 in the four games with three doubles, one triple and five runs batted in.
3A DISTRICTS AT PORUM — No. 9 Porum forced a final game but was shut out 3-0 by 12th-ranked Keota, ending the Lady Panthers’ season at 18-6.
Porum went 2-2 on the day, eliminating Watts 20-0 behind a 16-hit attack and two home runs — Katie McCuller hit her fourth and Mallory Smith her first.
Keota beat Porum 4-1 in the winner’s bracket final, then Porum returned the favor in the playback game 7-4 as Kylie Powell went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Carly Anderson and Johnna Bailey each had a pair of hits.
Keota won its first game, 16-0 over Watts.
POTEAU 9, FORT GIBSON 7 – Despite Toni Rowland’s three hits and Kelsi Hornback’s two runs, the Lady Tigers (7-13) lost to the Class 6A No. 9 Lady Pirates at the Fort Gibson diamond on Tuesday.
Isabelle Hubbert and Miranda Cherry each had two hits with Hubbert scoring twice. Taylor Cosby (7-13) was the losing pitcher as she gave up three earned runs.
