PONCA CITY 8, MUSKOGEE 7 — The Roughers lost their first game in the Gladys Winters Festival being played in Stillwater and also in Enid, where MHS will face Union at 6 tonight. No other info was available. Muskogee is now 14-7.

TULSA WASHINGTON 8, HILLDALE 0 — Hilldale fell to 7-10 with another blowout loss in the Nike Pro Nine tourney in Owasso. After losing 10-1 to 4A No. 2 Berryhill on Tuesday, the Hornets came out against 6A Washington and managed just two hits, one each by Derek Altman and Gunner Drake. Cameron Haughey took the loss and Kyle Dick struck out five in relief. Hilldale plays  against a yet-to-be determined opponent at 11 a.m. Saturday.

RIVERSIDE CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT — Payton York struck out 17 in seven innings, allowing four hits as Braggs beat Webbers Falls 3-1. Walter Hanson was 2-for-3 with two RBIs as the Wildcats (8-6) rallied from an early 1-0 hole. Rowdy Ensminger was 2-for-4. Braggs plays the winner between Porum and either Gans or Porter from other games Thursday.

MICKEY MANTLE CLASSIC — Neosho (Mo.) beat Sequoyah 6-3, holding the Indians (3-4) to four hits. Elijah Tucker was 1-for-3  with a double and Brett Brown and Quinton Johnston had RBI singles for Sequoyah. Zac Parrish gave up five earned runs in six innings. Sequoyah plays at 2:30 today.

Haskell fell to McDonald County, Mo.,  9-2. Brody Enkey (3-2) picked up the loss going three innings and allowing six runs on just four hits. Matt Drake was 1-for-3 with an RBI double and Alex Wheeland was 1-for-2 with a stolen base and scored on a passed ball. Haskell (6-7) plays Neosho, Mo., at 2:30 p.m. today.

CENTRAL SALLISAW TOURNAMENT – Class 3A No. 5 Vian Wolverines and pitcher Jon Andrews shut out Keys 6-0. Andrews (4-1) had a complete game two-hitter. A.J. Rodriguez did major damage from the plate going 2-for-4 with five RBIs, including a grand-slam in the fourth inning. Vian (14-3) faces Pocola in the semis at 4 p.m. today.

COLE MINING CLASSIC – The Class 3A No. 6 Ironheads defeated 15th-ranked Oktaha 6-5 in eight innings in Hartshorne. Trey Moore (8-0) went all eight, giving up just six hits. Ronnie Hallum went 3-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs. Eufaula (16-1) plays Hartshorne at 6:30 p.m. today. Oktaha fell to 10-6.

TAHLEQUAH 10, EAST CENTRAL 0 – Colby Brittain had his bid for a five-inning perfect game disappear with a bloop single to right field in the fourth. Brittain allowed one hit and struck out 11 in the run-rule game. He was 1-for-2 from the plate with a double and a pair of stolen bases. Houston Glad went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs. Tahlequah (12-8) plays Kickapoo, Mo., in the Claremore Festival at noon today before traveling to East Central later in the day at 4:30 p.m.

OKAY 6, GORE 5 – Noah Eastwood (3-2) went five innings, allowing three earned runs on three hits for the Mustangs. Coleman Harris was 2-for-3 with a 2-run double. Okay (7-3) goes to Gore at 4:30 p.m. today.

HULBERT 7, TULSA WEBSTER 5 – Eric Fonseca (1-0) pitched all seven innings, allowing three earned runs on six hits, and struck out eight. Collin Gailey went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, and Chad Schlunf was 2-for-4 with two doubles. Hulbert (6-8) travels to Warner at 4:30 p.m. today.

WAGONER 8, MIAMI 7 – Jordan McKee scored the winning run on an overthrow in the top of the ninth. Tyler Milligan (4-1) entered in the seventh and after allowing a two-run homer, settled in and picked up the win going the distance. Wagoner (11-5) hosts Checotah at 4:30 p.m. today.
