Roughers take two on Saturday

The Muskogee Roughers finished the regular season with a 9-6, 5-1 doubleheader sweep at Tulsa Edison on Saturday.

Tyler Bowden pitched a complete game in the opener, striking out six and walking three, to get the win for Muskogee (14-19) while Tony Horn went the distance in the nightcap, surrendering two hits with four strikeouts and no earned runs, to get the victory.

On the day, Dakota Morse was 5-for-7 with two runs batted in, Casey Winters was 4-for-7 with two runs scored and one RBI and Cody Floyd was 3-for-6 two RBIs and two runs scored. Bowden was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored in game one.

The Roughers find out later today their upcoming postseason schedule when the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association releases the pairings.
