2A DISTRICTS: WARNER 13-13, HULBERT 0-1 — The No. 8 Eagles (26-7) totaled 19 hits and cruised at home, advancing to regionals with a pair of five-inning run-rule wins.  

Levi Jones had a no-hit bid spoiled in the fourth on Chad Schulns’ single. Jones (8-3) struck out 11. Clint Kite’s two-run double highlighted a six-run second inning. Jones, Justin Wright and Shiloh Bullard were all 2-for-2 with Jones driving in three runs.

Gage Sparrow (7-1) scattered four hits with seven strikeouts. Wright’s two-run double sparked a seven-run fourth. Sparrow helped himself going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Kite was 2-for-2. Cody Coffman drove in a run in a five-run first.

2A DISTRICTS: OKTAHA 24-12, LIBERTY 0-2 — Oktaha (15-9) steamrolled Liberty en route to next week’s regionals Jordan Webb (6-4) no-hit Liberty in the opener as Caleb Shoemake went 4-for-4 with three RBIs, Webb was 3-for-3 with four RBIs including his eighth home run of the year. Dakota Berry was also perfect in three at-bats as was Zach Evans. In the clincher, Daceauda Davis (5-3) allowed five hits. Berry was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and Justin Capps drove in a pair of runs.

VIAN 4, DALE 0 — The Wolverines (29-2) drew a  3A district bye but blanked Dale on a three-hit performance by Jon Andrews. Andrews, who struck out five, held pat in a scoreless game until Landon Decker and Dan Weer each hit two-run home runs in the top of the seventh.

3A DISTRICTS: EUFAULA 4-11, HOLDENVILLE 1-1 — Eufaula will return to regionals after a sweep at home. Forrest Paden and Cody Faries had two RBIs each in support of Trey Moore (6-5) in the opener, giving up two hits. Colin Walch (5-4) was the winning pitcher in game two. Paden and Walch were both 2-for-4 and Ronnie Hallum hit his second home run of the year in a 2-for-3 day.

3A DISTRICTS: SEQUOYAH 5-6, WESTVILLE 1-1 — The Indians (13-8) swept Westville to move to next week’s regional round. In Game 1, Kyle Helsley was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles. Elijah Tucker drove in three runs and Quinton Johnson was 2-for-3.  Ryan Helsley got the win on the mound, allowing three hits while striking out nine. In Game 2, Zach Parish struck out seven in seven innings and got two hits each from Kyle and Ryan Helsley and a two-run double by Karter Woodruff.

3A DISTRICTS: MORRIS 7-6, HASKELL 6-2  — The Haymakers lost both games at Morris to end their season at 9-16. No other details were available.

4A DISTRICTS: STILWELL 12-5, CHECOTAH 11-1 — The Wildcats lost a heartbreaker in Game 1 then were swept out of the season, ending it at 15-12. No other details were available.

CLASS A REGIONALS: GORE SPLITS A PAIR — Rattan scored five unanswered runs to beat Gore in the winner’s bracket final 6-3 at Gore on Thursday. The Pirates (24-6) will play Afton at 1 p.m. Friday in an elimination game.

Gore beat Afton 6-2 in the first game of the day. Jake Johnson was 3-for-4 with a two-run double that sparked a five-run third. Logan Ohl, Ben Smith and Dakota Andrews each went 2-for-3. Cole Keathley (2-2) scattered five hits in four innings for the win.

Against Rattan, Smith’s infield single made it a 1-0 game in the first. Ohl tripled home Wade Shanks then scored on Smith’s single to make it a 3-1 game in the third. Rattan got three runs in the fourth aided by two errors, including two on an errant throw by Ohl off a bunt to the mound. Ohl (7-2) gave up five hits and walked six, three of which scored. The Pirates left two on on the fourth and one on in the fifth before going in order in the seventh.

The 1 p.m. winner today will need to beat Rattan twice, once at 3 p.m. and again on Saturday.
