STIGLER 46, VALLIANT 6 — The Panthers’ Cade Shearwood put on an offensive display as Stigler rolled to a 25-0 halftime advantage. The Panthers (7-2, 4-1 3A-8) finished with 562 yards of offense.
Shearwood had 174 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries and completed 7 of 11 passes for for 132 yards and another TD.
LIBERTY 53, PORTER 0 — The Pirates (1-8, 0-5 A-8) remain winless in district play and gave up 47 first-half points.
WARNER 32, AFTON 20 — The Eagles (9-0, 5-0 A-8) completed the come-from-behind victory and clinched the district title in the process after trailing Afton 14-8 at halftime and 20-8 after the first play of the second half.
Warner scored 16 points in the third quarter in rallying for the victory. Justin Wright scrambled for 111 yards on 11 attempts and scored twice including a 63-yard run.
VIAN 56, HARTSHORNE 7 — Vian (8-0, 4-0 2A-6) rushed for 340 yards and took a 42-7 halftime lead in clinching the district title. Eric Casey carried the ball six times for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Landon Decker rushed for 73 yards on eight carries and scored once.
HASKELL 52, WELLSTON 10 — The Haymakers’ Alex Wheeland and Jordan Presley combined for five Haskell touchdowns and more than 200 yards rushing. The Haymakers (6-3, 2-3 2A-5) can make the playoffs if they win next week against Mounds.
Wheeland rushed for 104 yards on eight carries, scoring twice and also passed for a touchdown. Presley ran for 116 on nine carries and scored twice.
GORE 79, HAILEYVILLE 0 — The Pirates piled up 51 first-half points as Logan Ohl accounted for 20 of them. Ohl scored on a 36-yard rush and caught two touchdowns on passes from Ben Smith.
Gore finished with 538 yards compared to (minus -) 47 Haileyville yards.
WAGONER 43, TULSA WEBSTER 14 — Lawrence Evitt ran for 195 yards on 21 carries and scored on a six-yard touchdown run as the Wagoner Bulldogs defeated Tulsa Webster 43-14 at Webster to clinch the District 4A-3 championship on Friday night.
The defending Class 4A state champions, ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press poll, improved to 8-1 for the season and 6-0 in district.
Evitt also caught a four-yard touchdown pass. Quarterback Decarius Clark completed 8 of 10 passes for 105 yards and three touchdowns.. He also had TD passes of 21 and 26 yards. Devaughn Clark, replacing the injured Kerwin Thomas, had two rushing touchdowns of three and nine yards.
Defensively, the Bulldogs limited Webster to 49 yards rushing on 33 carries in the game.
EAST CENTRAL 42, TAHLEQUAH 0 — The Tigers (1-8, 1-4 5A-4) fell into a 28-0 halftime hole and couldn’t get going against No. 3 East Central.
KEYS 42, JAY 20 — The Cougars (4-4, 3-2 3A-7) kept their playoff hopes alive with the crucial win.
