Prep roundup and Tuesday's schedule

Fastpitch softball

OKTAHA 7, WARNER 3 – In a make-up game from earlier in the season, the 3A No. 5 ranked Lady Tigers moved to 23-7 behind the arm of Chelsea Cantwell. Taylor Pevehouse went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI while Callie Barnes was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and an RBI.

Cheyenne Miller took the loss for the Lady Eagles as they fall to 20-8 on the season. Payton Jackson was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Zadie McElhaney was 1-for-3 with an RBI.

WAGONER 4, MULDROW 3 – It was a back-and-forth game for the Lady Bulldogs as they moved to 16-13 on the season. Kaitlyn Collins got the win for Wagoner. Emily Yates got her lone hit of the game going 1-for-3 with a double to drive in Kalie Goforth to win the game for the Lady Bulldogs. Madyson Robertson was 2-for-4 and Kayla Teague was 1-for-3.



TAHLEQUAH 3, CATOOSA 1 – The 5A No. 8 ranked Lady Tigers moved to 30-7 on the season as they won their match with scores of 10-25, 25-17, 25-15 and 25-19. Jillian Tinnen had 15 kills; Cassie Goodnight added 12 and Allie George had 11. Tahlequah is back on the court at 7 p.m. today against Coweta.

SEQUOYAH 3, CLAREMORE 0 – The 4A No. 4 ranked Lady Indians improved to 28-5 on the year, winning by scores of of 25-8, 25-7 and 25-15. Audrey Ballou had 10 kills and five aces while Kayli Gonzales had two kills and an ace. Sequoyah begins regional play at 9 a.m. Thursday against Hulbert.

WESTVILLE 3, OKAY 1 – For the Lady Mustangs, it was a night of highs despite the loss. Westville extended a warm moment of class and sportsmanship as they included the Lady Mustangs seniors in their own senior night.

“It was a breath of fresh air in a turbulent season,” said Okay coach Belinda Clark. Scores in the match were 25-17, 25-18, 18-25 and 25-18. Edith and Anna Ruckman both had eight kills for Okay. Summer Milligan added five kills and three blocks and Kelsey Walker had three aces. The Lady Mustangs take the court again in regional play at noon Thursday against Wagoner.

WAGONER 3, INOLA 0 – The Lady Bulldogs won their match, 25-13, 25-18 and 25-23. Skylar Bruce had 26 assists on the night while Bailee Thomas had six kills and Arielle Stevenson added three kills.
