HILLDALE 11, JAY 0 – The Lady Hornets erupted for eight runs in the third inning led by a lead-off double by Sarah Hughey followed by an RBI double by Toni McMillan. Destiny Riddle allowed one hit while walking no one for her thirdrd shutout of the season.  The Lady Hornets run their record to 6-1 and host Wagoner at 5 p.m. today.  

STIGLER 12, EUFAULA 0  – Eufaula fell to 0-5.  Losing pitcher for the Lady Ironheads was Rachel Singleton who gave up just one walk in the losing effort. Singleton and Cori Burge got the only hits for the Lady Ironheads both going 1-for-2 from the plate with singles. Eufaula is back in action at 6 p.m. today against Beggs at home. Stigler’s stats were unavailable at press time.

CHECOTAH 5, MORRIS 3 – The Lady Wildcats moved to 5-1 behind the bat of Emily Davidson who went 2-for-3 with four runs batted in. Colby Christian also went 2-for-3, Kori Carmack went 2-for-4 with one run scored. Taylor Davidson got the win inside the circle for the Lady Wildcats and improved her record to 5-1, striking two and gave up just seven hits and two earned runs. The Lady Wildcats take the field againat 6 p.m. today against Vian at home.

HULBERT 4, GORE 3 – The Hulbert Lady Riders moved to 1-1 on the season with a win over the Lady Pirates of Gore who fell to 0-5. Katlyn Sewell got the win in the circle for the Lady Riders going six innings, striking out three and giving up just three earned runs on eight hits. Sewell also went 1-for-3 from the plate with a run batted in.

Paige Taylor went 2-for-2 with a single and a double and scored two runs for Hulbert while Ashtin Barnoskie went 1-for-3 with a run batted in as well for the Lady Riders.

For the Lady Pirates, Stormie Gates took the loss seeing her record fall to an 0-3 on the season. Gates went 2-for-3 from the plate with a run batted in. McKenzie Stiefel went 2-for-4 with a run batted in. Hulbert is back on the field today at 4 p.m. against Chouteau, while the Gore is in action today at 4 p.m. against Braggs.

WARNER 4, SALLISAW CENTRAL 3 – Tatum Elders got the win for the Lady Eagles in the first game of a three-way at Vian. Payton Jackson went 2-for-3 with a run batted in, while Melissa Girty and Cheyenne Miller both went 1-for-1 with a run batted in Miller scored a run.

VIAN 11, WARNER 10 – The Lady Wolverines needed nine innings to get past the Lady Eagles of Warner. Winning pitcher was Jaden Bolin. Bolin also contributed at the plate with two singles and a double. Addison Elbon was the heroine of the game getting the winning double that drove in the final two runs for the Lady Wolverines.

Cheyenne Miller was the losing pitcher going 4 2/3 innings giving up just three earned runs and striking out three Lady Wolverines’ batters. Chelsea Anderson went 3-for-4 with two runs and two runs batted in.

The Lady Eagles scored six runs in the seventh inning to tie the game and then gave up the winning runs in the bottom of the ninth with two outs. Vian moves to 2-3 on the season.

Vian will be at Checotah at 5:30 p.m. today while Warner is at Canadian with a 4 p.m. start

SEQUOYAH 15, HARTSHORNE 2 – The Lady Indians moved to 4-3 on the season with their win. Winning pitcher for the Lady Indians was Kati Phillips going two innings striking out three and giving up no earned runs. Hartshorne’s only runs came on errors by the Lady Indians.

Hay Leigh went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in while Chelsea Leach went 2-for-3 as well. The Lady Indians are at home at 3 p.m. today against Oktaha.

KETCHUM 13, PORTER 1 – The Lady Pirates fell to 1-3 on the season and are back in action 4:30 p.m. today at Gans.



WAGONER 3, HULBERT 0 – The Lady Bulldogs of Wagoner moved to 2-1 on the season with a straight set win over the Lady Riders of Hulbert who fell to 0-7 on the season. The Lady Bulldogs won by scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-20.

For the Lady Bulldogs, Bailee Thomas had three kills and two aces, while Kristen Robbins added three kill and two aces. Skyler Bruce added two kills as well for the Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Riders were led in scoring by Brittany Manes with 15 points. Mady Sielden had eight blocks while Schyler Bower had seven kills.

The Lady Bulldogs are back in action 6 p.m. today at Salina while Hulbert is back on the court at 6:30 p.m. today at Okay.
