EUFAULA AT MORRIS — The Ironheads did some traveling to Morris and once they got there, with their run game. Tailbacks Devon Sears, Shane Moore and Casey Pryor all scored touchdowns.

“Devon and Casey are comfortable there. They spelled each other when the other was injured last year so they’re experienced,” Eufaula head coach Larry Newton said.

Newton was also pleased with his defense.

“We controlled the line of scrimmage. We moved around and made the plays,” he said. “It was a good first outing.”

KEYS SCRIMMAGE – At Park Hill, Roland, Colcord and the Cougars got one score each as defenses ruled the night.

“I was pleased with the intensity level and how the defense flew to the ball,” Keys coach Gary Willis said. “We’re a really young team starting one freshman and six sophomores so we’re still developing.”
