Aubrey Johnson had the big bat  for 11th-ranked Muskogee  in a big road win at No. 4 Jenks, taking down the Trojans 11-4.

Johnson went 3-for-5 with a double and her second home run of the season. She also scored three times and drove in a pair of runs.

That helped Shaylee Rowland in the circle. Rowland scattered six hits and four runs.

Also for Muskogee (7-1), Lexi Watson hit her second home run in her only time to reach, going 1-for-3. Brook Hendrickson went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base, while DeeDee Emarthle went 2-for-5 with an RBI.

Fort Gibson wins pair

The 4A No. 6 Lady Tigers had a flair for the dramatic in the Rogers State Festival, winning both games to move to 8-0 on the year.

After Madison Higley yielded a three-run home run in the fourth, Fort Gibson rallied from a three-run deficit to win 4-3 against No. 3 Oologah. Miranda Cherry’s sacrifice fly pushed across the winning run after the Lady Tigers immediately responded to the blast with two to tie matters. Mackenzie Williams was 3-for-3 with two doubles and Cherry along with Paige Stout each were 1-for-2. The home run was one of three hits off Higley, who struck out four.

Fort Gibson also got by Miami 2-0 with two runs in the seventh, one an RBI single by Williams. She along with Brea Jordan and Emily Rigsby were 2-for-4. Higley again tossed a three-hitter, this time a shutout and striking out seven in the process.
