PORTER 80, BRAGGS 59  — Jacob Richardson scored 47 points in three quarters as the Pirates (8-1) dumped the Wildcats in Riverside Conference action at Braggs. He scored 47 against Midway earlier this season.

Cody Winkle added 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Pirates, who led 42-26 at halftime. Payton York led the Wildcats (5-9) with 14 points, while Tatem Livingston added 13 points and Brodey Igert grabbed 14 rebounds.

KEYS 64, WAGONER 58  OT — Mason Turman had six of Keys’ 10 points in overtime to cap a wild comeback for the 3A No. 7 Cougars (7-3, 3-2 Verdigris Valley).

Tyler Blankenship hit a 3 in the waning seconds before Trevor Eubanks’ 3 at the buzzer forced overtime. Keys had trailed 35-16 at the half. Eubanks finished with 25 including three 3s. Turman finished with 16 and for upset-minded Wagoner (0-4), Decarius Clark had 24 points.

EUFAULA 58, KELLYVILLE 51 — The Ironheads (3-4, 1-1 Big Eight Star) led 18-9 after one quarter and never trailed from that point. Cody Faries had 13 points and Devin Siers had 11.

VIAN 84, WARNER 55 —  Shane Ross had 20 points for Vian (1-1), Eric Casey had 16 and Brett Hooper had 10. Vian outscored Warner 24-6 in the third to make it a 66-35 game. Grey Denton had 19 for Warner.

HULBERT 67, GORE 62 — Hulbert (5-3, 3-0 Big Eight)  got a career-high 30 points from Craig Potts. Nathan Fieldon had 14 and Rico Wynn had 10. Gore’s Jake Johnson had 28 points. Derrich Justice had 20.

PRYOR 56, TAHLEQUAH 38 — Tahlequah (2-5, 1-4 Metro Lakes) got 11 points from Jake Vader in a cold-shooting night for the Tigers.

CHECOTAH 55, MORRIS 33 —  The Wildcats (6-1, 3-0 Big Eight Star) trailed 13-7 after one against former Muskogee assistant Bobby Allison’s squad but went on an 18-3 tear in the second quarter to lead 25-16 at the break. Braylon Warrior had 18 points, eight in that second-quarter surge, and DeShay Bear had 11.

GANS 48, MIDWAY 25  — Freshman Casey Scruggs had 16 of Midway’s points but little help as the Chargers fell to 1-8, 0-5 in the Riverside Conference.

BEGGS 63, HASKELL 50 — At Haskell, Michael Love scored 15 points and Chris Wright added 13 in falling to 3-4 for the season.

Cruz Lynch led Beggs with 24 points. Chris Baccus had 13 and Alex James added 12  for 7-1 Beggs.


VIAN 84, WARNER 26 — Vian (1-1) scored 27 first-quarter points to lead by 21 and went on to the win at Vian. Erica Casey had 23 points, Jennifer Hunter had 15, Shanessia Walters with 8, Jaden Bolin had 8.  Raven Girty had nine for Warner (1-5).

SEQUOYAH 51, METRO CHRISTIAN 42 — With three starters out due to the flu, Sequoyah (5-2) still managed its second win in a row, jumping out to a 22-8 lead after one quarter to take command. Courtney Jones had 14 points, Jakkie Wright had 12 and Sierra Polk had seven.

HULBERT 55, GORE 26 — Lindsey Kruger had 20 points and 15 rebounds, her third double-double, for the Lady Riders (7-1, 2-0), winners at home. Tiffany Thompson had 20 points, including six 3-pointers. Allison Arnall had three points and seven rebounds, five steals and three assists. Hulbert outscored Gore 15-5 to lead 42-19 going into the final eight quarters. M. Morgan led Gore with 10 points.

TAHLEQUAH 65, PRYOR 33 — Rebounding was key for 5A No. 7  Tahlequah (6-2, 3-1 Metro Lakes Conference) at home as the Lady Tigers held a 39-14 edge. Jhonette Cookson had nine to go along with her game-high 17 points. Casey Beaston had 12. Tahlequah outscored Pryor 19-5 in the second quarter and led 36-12 at halftime.

KEYS 48, WAGONER 25 — The Lady Cougars (5-5) jumped out to an 18-4 first quarter lead en route to beating the Lady Bulldogs (0-4) at Park Hill. Keys sank four 3-pointers in that first period and led 26-6 at halftime. Mylee Hewitt led Keys with 12 points and Sydney Rainbolt added 10. Cherokee Ridge led Wagoner with 11 points.

BEGGS 53, HASKELL 36 — Playing at Haskell, the Lady Haymakers only trailed 20-15 at halftime, but only scored 19 in the second half in falling to 3-4 for the season. Sherrell McHenry had a team-high 14 points for Haskell. Casey Miller led Beggs (6-2) with 23 points.

PORTER 47, BRAGGS 35 — Tiona Mayes had 17 points for Porter, 2-6 and winners of their second game in a row. Dominque Garcia added 14 points. For Braggs (3-12), Jacie Ray and Kristen Perry had nine.

KELLYVILLE 52, EUFAULA 45 — Cheyanna Jones had 12 for Eufaula (4-3, 1-1 Big Eight Star) and Newakis Banks had 10. The Lady Ironheads led 20-15 at the half.

MORRIS 61, CHECOTAH 52 — The Wildcats (1-5, 0-3 Big Eight Star) fell despite a pair of double-figure efforts. Kelsea Johnson had 12 points and C.J. Camp 11, but a basket at the end of the opening quarter put Checotah down one before being outscored 21-8 in the second to trail 37-23 at the half. The lead reached 20 before a fourth-quarter rally cut it to nine.

MIDWAY 48, GANS 39 —  Hailee Truesdell had 17 including three 3-pointers for the Lady Chargers (8-2, 5-0 Riverside) while Zadie McElhaney had 16. Midway trailed until Kristy Sawbel’s 3-pointer broke a 39-39 tie in the fourth and gave the Lady Chargers the lead for good.
