In reference to the June 7 story about Sen. Jim Inhofe calling President Obama un-American, I agree.
The term though is mild. He is really anti-American. He is against democracy, capitalism and soft on terrorism. Look at his voting record and books he has written. It seems noble to try to communicate with our enemies.
However, the president should protect the United States from any other terrorist attacks since 9/11.
To go to other countries and criticize your own country, which just elected him as the leader, is certainly not patriotic. The choice of country to speak in to try to have peace with Moslem countries should have been Saudi Arabia as the seat of Islam.
Since he went to Egypt, he could have mentioned that Egypt has a large amount of territory, the Sinai Peninsula, for the Palestinians to settle in. That territory did belong to Israel after the 1973 war. The United States made them give it back.
His was the same effort that other liberal leaders have tried — blame Israel for the Mideast problem and try to make them give up more land for peace. Israel is a sovereign nation. Leave them alone unless we invite more calamities.
Israel now just has a sliver of land from the original promised by God over four thousand years ago.
