THE PEOPLE SPEAK: Road gets attention and earns compliment

Hats off to Ronnie Pevehouse, Muskogee County District 2 commissioner,
Finally, the local NS437, alias Coffee Hill Road, has been repaved about 60 percent so far and is looking good with new blacktop.
I appreciate that part of NS437 finally getting attention and will look forward to the striping of this road as well. The current county commissioner inherited numerous problems from the prior commissioners’ lack of due diligence regarding bridges and road upkeep.
I hope that Pevehouse can put hot tar in road cracks and start striping all the paved roads.
It is just too dangerous to drive on non-striped, black-topped county roads at night. Stripe a road, save a life.
Just a big word of thanks for paving Coffee Hill Road. It is greatly appreciated.
