With all the talk about McCain versus Obama and the effect the winner will have on our way of life, I don’t hear much about their differences on abortion.
McCain has a strong pro-life voting record during his career in the Senate.
He has consistently opposed abortion on scores of votes.
Obama has compiled a pro-abortion voting record. He voted against legislation prohibiting taxpayer funds from being used to pay for abortions. He voted to block a bill that would have required an abortion doctor to notify one parent before performing an abortion on a minor from another state.
He voted against a bill that would have provided protection for babies that survive abortions.
I wonder if those who are pro-life or maybe just not extreme pro-choice are going to consider the babies not yet born or just born when they go to the polls in November.
