THE HILLDALE MIDDLE School Cheer Squad thanks Kum & Go convenience stores and staff for allowing them to hold a very successful fundraising car wash at their Peak Boulevard store location Aug. 8. The squad also thanks everyone that made donations and allowed the squad to wash their autos. The cheerleaders are trying to raise funds to purchase new uniforms for competition, and we really appreciate everyone’s participation.
Hilldale Middle School Cheer Squad THE FAMILY OF Jimmy Lee Whittle Sr. expresses our deep appreciation to all who prayed, brought food, sent cards, floral arrangements and made charitable donations during the loss of our beloved husband and father. God heard Dad’s battle cry and he answered from his holy hill. Dad received the victory of eternal life Aug. 6. We express a special thank you to his doctors, Trinity Hospice of Checotah, and Hampton Mortuary. Chaplain Wendall Cox, you were a true source of comfort during this most difficult time. God bless you all. The family of Jimmy Lee Whittle Sr. HOW DO YOU go airborne over the median on the Muskogee Turnpike, crash on the concrete at least twice, roll several times, landing in a shallow ditch — then walk away with only a few scratches and bruises? That happened to my daughter and I on the way home from Tulsa last month. Our car was totaled, but God was with us. I wish to thank the people that stopped to help. One car that stopped was a group of men that work for the railroad. All of them were sure that we would be badly hurt. Our car had six airbags, but they didn’t deploy because of the nature of the crash. I wish to assure all who stopped that what they witnessed was truly a miracle. Jesus loves me this I know.
