Published October 07, 2008 03:56 pm - THE PEOPLE SPEAK: Media wants to steal election from America Our founders worried about the possibility of our democracy becoming an oligarchy. I see The Associated Press has found nasty issues in Sarah Palin’s background to include, oh, my gosh, a free facial. Nothing of course, about Barack Obama's ties to ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), one of the most corrupt, investigated and found guilty organizations in American politics or the fact that he siphoned millions of dollars into the community that he “organized” for.
This community remains the highest crime rate sector in the history of Chicago with the most unbelievable rate of political corruption. John McCain asks us to verify the records but no one does because Obama has no record except extreme left-wing politics. Palin at least has a record and she just scares the dickens out of the left wing. Wonder why? Could it be that she is the very antithesis of everything they preach: a successful, independent, woman with a life, family and religion. We elect our politicians, so no matter how sorry they are we get what we pay for and we can vote them out. What about the media, no longer willing to report news but rather steal an election from the American people. How do we fire them? For that matter how can we fire Disneyland East sometimes known as the Supreme Court? There is a lot of rhetoric in reference to restoring our world esteem. Dirty politics as we now know started with Howard Dean. I agree, restore the esteem but how when we have the illustrious Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, et al. constantly telling the world how sorry our president is. Maybe he is, but whose business is that other than ours. The bailout compromise led by Frank and Dodd is sort of like letting Dillinger guard a bank. I’m surprised Frank could take time away from chasing pages and Dodd from trying to hide all the money he has taken from these entities. ACORN was getting a piece of this too. Imagine that.
