THE PEOPLE SPEAK — Don’t delay, seek Jesus

During Christmas season, we do a lot of “here comes Santa Claus” and “Santa is coming to town.” Which in itself is fine, so long as we don’t allow ourselves to forget what the day commemorates, the birth of our savior.

Now at the Easter season, there are lots of Easter egg hunts and bunny rabbits to be found, and that’s only play, which celebrates reproduction life that self lasts 100 years at best and everyone has it.

What we really need is resurrection life or life from the dead, which is provided through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and available simply by request to God, who I found was more than glad to grant it.

Anyone reading this who has never trusted God’s plan of salvation provided through the sacrifice of Jesus, I urge you to seek him as he invited us all to do and don’t delay.

You know you don’t want to leave this world without him.

Any one of us could find today our last day on this earth.

What will it be, heaven or hell?
