THE PEOPLE SPEAK — Changing coaches hurts students

For 10 years Bobby Jefferson has been Muskogee High School’s athletic director and head wrestling coach. He found out when he saw his job advertised that he cannot be both anymore.

If the superintendent and school board members cared about the best interest of the students, this would not happen. Shame on them!

Bobby Jefferson has done an excellent job for over 30 years in the Muskogee school district. He has won numerous awards for his excellence. He not only coaches, but teaches the students morals, ethics and integrity. He goes beyond his job in helping students that need something. What a loss this will be to so many students!
