THE PEOPLE SPEAK - Keifer would be asset as commissioner

It has been a quiet time so far as election gossip goes, but as time draws near, it has reared its ugly head. In reference to Mr. Neal’s letter regarding Willie Keifer on the repair of his brakes. I’m sure Mr. Neal probably left out some issues of what was said during this incident, which prompted Mr. Keifer to stand up for their boss.

I have worked for 45 years in the public all over the United States and have been placed in the same situation as this and my employees stood up for me if they felt I was threatened.

Willie and myself have been friends for over 35 years. During this time whether it was at a racetrack, shop, business, or any place at anytime, Willie gave me 110 percent. He is a person of respect, integrity, and honesty. I feel he will be a great asset as a commissioner and will work for all of the people of Muskogee County to the best of his ability.

I stand behind my friends and love them each and everyone. Hammer down and full speed ahead Willie.
