THE PEOPLE SPEAK — How would Keifer treat non-supporters?

— I had tried making a deal on a Mercury Mountaineer with a Muskogee dealership, at which, at that time, hopeful Muskogee County Commissioner District #3, Willie Keifer was service manager. Not satisfied with their quote, I searched around and got a much better deal on my vehicle at a dealership in Tulsa. I was told by Muskogee’s dealership that they could not beat or match that deal. A few months passed and the air conditioner went out with only 9,000 miles on the vehicle.  When I brought it in for service, I was told by you, Mr. Keifer, that it would be a long time before it could be fixed, or possibly not get fixed at all, because I had not purchased it at the Muskogee’s dealership. Not satisfied with such a response, I called the 1-800 number and the gentleman told me they would call the Muskogee dealership and get the reason for the delay.  He called back stating the Muskogee dealership didn’t want to work on my vehicle because I didn’t purchase it there. Ten minutes later you, Mr. Keifer, called me back and told me not to ever bring it back to your dealership.

I ended up trading this vehicle off, and purchasing a Toyota, which I later found out was under the same ownership.

I pose one question for hopeful District 3 Muskogee County Commissioner,  Willie Keifer:  If you are elected as our next District 3 Commissioner and you find out that a voter in our district did not vote for you, would you work on their road?
