A.M. UPDATE: Scrap metal drive to benefit Roughers football team

The Muskogee Roughers football team will have its fifth annual Scrap Metal Drive from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Homeland, 2410 Chandler Road.

Aluminum cans, car batteries, old pots and pans, copper wiring, old appliances, lawn mowers, steel pipe, extension cords, old lawn furniture and all metals will be accepted. Football players will be there to unload everything for you. There will also be pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and drinks for $5.
