THE PEOPLE SPEAK – Policy on towing cars needs further review

My sister was recently involved in a car accident, the other driver did not have insurance. The officer at the scene told her that it was our city council’s policy not to tow cars without insurance. Why?

It is my understanding that the state recently passed a law to tow cars that are not insured. I wonder if the Phoenix could do some investigative reporting on this issue. Meanwhile all uninsured motorists in Oklahoma feel free to drive in Muskogee and have as many wrecks as you want.

By the way, all you people who voted Republicans into the House last year and all you Democrats that sat at home instead of voting, way to go, good job!
