THE PEOPLE SPEAK – Wonderful people devoted to help

Well I would say I am in a great mood this morning. I woke up and gave thanks for waking up in my world around me. I was just thinking of how lucky I am to have one of the most wonderful Charitable Organizations to exist right here in my community. The Methodist Organization has a Outreach Mission and Food Bank here in Checotah.

They have a Second Hand Store to sell all the donations people give them and use the money to put right back into the Mission. They have seasonal sales like at Christmas time. They get Christmas trees donated to them all year so they set up a sale with the most valuable donations and then they have a food giveaway to people who sign up for the food basket. Enough to prepare a Christmas dinner for the amount of people in your family.

The most wonderful people in the world run the Mission for free. Nothing. Just because they want to make peoples lives better if they can by their own efforts.

Another organization, Jesus Helping Hands has a retail store also and they run a Emergency Shelter for stranded women and children. Also wonderful people who volunteer their lives devotion to helping others.
