THE PEOPLE SPEAK — Wall honors those who serve our country

Just want all you good folks in Warner to know how impressed we are with your patriotic displays.

A notable fellow, by the name of Edwin Medina, is making an agreeable purr in the community.

Edwin, a trained cartoonist, has used his considerable talent to make a memorial wall on the windows at Fiesta Mart.

Local veterans provided him with name of local vets who are KIA or MIA.

Rolling Thunder veteran Tim Gibson provided him with MIA’s names from Oklahoma.

It is good to see the young honor our honored men and women who have gave so much to our country. Customers at Fiesta Mart are encouraged to give their families names to Edwin who will gladly add them to the “wall.”

A slogan comes to my mind, “about as American as it gets.”
