THE PEOPLE SPEAK – Muskogee needs more competition

Why do we pay 20+ cents more for gas than in Tulsa? Why do the same stores charge five to 10 cents more on the east side than on the west side (Kum & Go)? This is gouging the public at a time when prices are extremely high.

We need more competition in Muskogee. If we had a QuikTrip I think we would see a difference. We are getting some people, the mayor and City Council, that I believe want to see us prosper. They need all the help they can get to get things done. Muskogee needs a lot of help.

P.S. In Tulsa on the 18th, gas was $3.16.
