THE PEOPLE SPEAK — GOP infringes on personal freedoms

Republicans are always talking about less government, but they keep passing more and more laws that infringe on my personal freedoms. What’s more, they are wasting their time in my case. I will not allow them to legislate who I marry. I will not allow them to legislate what takes place between my doctor and me or what medicines I take.

I have always “stood my ground” years before they passed their stupid law and I will carry if and when there is a need. They could concentrate on fixing the highways, they are disgraceful. They could repair the state’s bridges, they are dangerous. They might upgrade our schools, they are unsafe for our children. In other words, mind the state’s business and stay out of mine.
