THE PEOPLE SPEAK - Columnist change is unwelcome

As if it isn’t already bad enough that you have eight syndicated columnists and six are decidedly conservative and only two are what people call liberal, if they don't like them, and progressive if they do, but now you have eliminated the only two conservative columnists that were any kind of intelligent. Who in his right mind would replace George Will with Michael Reagan and Cal Thomas with Doug Patton?

Someone picking up your paper for the first time would conclude that this is a rabble rousing right wing rag if that person didn’t go on to read the rest of your articles which are usually fairly good presenting a balanced view.
