Judge drops murder charge By Donna HalesPhoenix Staff Writer Clark was found face down in the yard of his home about five miles south of Boynton. The prosecution had alleged Potts and Pippin acted together to shoot Clark in both arms before beating him in the head with bricks, according to court documents.
The Potts and Pippin cases had been the first two in which Muskogee County prosecutors sought the death penalty since Moore took office in January 2007. Potts remains in Muskogee County/Detention Facility without bond.
