<font color = green>A.M. UPDATE:</font> Free genealogy workshop set for Saturday

A free genealogy workshop will be presented from 1-4 p.m. Saturday in the Grant Foreman Room of the Muskogee Public Library. Sponsored by the General Forrest Chapter, #881, United Daughters of the Confederacy, the workshop is open to the public.
The first session will deal with genealogical documents, organization and exhibits of proof, including digitized records. The second session will include a question-and-answer forum.
Speakers include:
• Jean Gibson Bohannan of Grove, who is a well-known genealogist and Delaware County historian and author of “Claude Hanna Retraces Memory Road.”
• Fredrea Gregath Cook of Wyandotte has authored 15 genealogy-related books, taught genealogy classes at the college level for several years and is a director of the Genealogical Speakers Guild.
• Carrie Ann Cook of Fairland is a published author, illustrator and free-lance photographer, holding AA and BS degrees in Education. She has taught genealogy, writing and computer classes at the Northeast Technology Center in Afton.
