<font color = green>P.M. UPDATE:</font> NSU Education students honored by Martin Family Foundation, DaVinci Institute

— TAHLEQUAH — Three Northeastern State University College of Education students were honored as outstanding teacher education candidates by the Martin Family Foundation and the DaVinci Institute.
Lindsey Groom of Bristow, Kristen Thumser of Broken Arrow, and Michelle Cole of Antlers, were three of 10 outstanding teacher education candidates from across Oklahoma named 2008 Martin/DaVinci Scholars.
Each of the nominees had to submit a lesson plan that incorporated service learning. The winners each receive $3,000 in September of the first year of teaching.
