Parenting training available today

A free “Pause for Parenting” hour will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. today in the conference room at the Muskogee Public Library. Tonya James, M.S., C.C.P.S., Child Development Specialist, at Muskogee County Health Department will provide the consultation.
James can offer advice on issues related to children from birth to six years.
Examples of topics include discipline, ages and stages, temper tantrums, sibling rivalry, toilet learning, separation anxiety, biting, picky eaters, and self-esteem.
James is at the Muskogee Public Library on the first Tuesday of each month during these hours to meet with interested people. Information: 683-0321.
