Published May 08, 2008 09:06 pm - Local Blue Star Mothers attend state meet Four members of Muskogee’s Chapter 3 of Blue Star Mothers recently attended the group’s state convention in Tulsa.
Among the speakers was Marine Corps Sgt. LaDilvia Gregg , 24, who is preparing for her third tour of duty in Iraq. Haskell Stephens of the Muskogee Blue Star Mothers said Gregg gave them many good ideas of items to send to troops in Iraq and what they go through in Iraq. The meeting also featured several other speakers and seminars. Others attending the Muskogee chapter were Susan Hull, president; Ida Thompkins, treasurer, and associates Carolynn Stephens and Haskell Stephens.
