Published May 09, 2009 10:18 pm - Muskogee students honored at council meeting At a regular meeting of the Muskogee City Council, Mayor John Tyler Hammons and members of the Council recognized students of character from all of the schools in Muskogee. Two students were selected from each school based on their excellent overall character. The students represented all of the students of good character who attend Muskogee Public Schools and Hilldale Public Schools. During the ceremony there was standing room only in the Council Chambers as parents, grandparents, and teachers were in attendance.
• Hilldale students • Upper Elementary: Nicholas Luttrull, Joe Beth Jones. • Middle School: Brandi Parris, Hunter Harrison. • High School: Leah Eubanks, Cameron Sikes. • Muskogee Public School students • Ben Franklin: Jimmy Riddle, Ashley Wooden, Lauren Krech, Sam Stratton. • Cherokee: Justin Main, Sydnie Yahola. • Creek: Peyton Marler, Kyle Wilbourn. • Grant Foreman: Cecilia Rodriguez, Chase Sinclair. • Harris-Jobe: Amber Foster, Franklin Skates. • Irving: Kaitlyn Tollinson, Seth Ragsdale. • Pershing: Bailey Speake, Caleb Stewart. • Sadler Arts Academy: Miranda Wood, Cantrell Ashley, Tristan Watson, Brianna Brown. • Tony Goetz: Arden Moore, Isaac McWilliams.
