Warner names top graduates

— Cody Hayes and Sarah Smithson have been named valedictorian and salutatorian at Warner High School.
Commencement is 7 p.m. Friday at Warner Event Center.
Cody is the daughter of Robert and Lena Hayes and granddaughter of Walter Knox.
Cody’s activities during high school include: Academic Pursuit team, Gifted and Talented, National Honor Society and FFA. Honors received include: Oklahoma Academic All-State, Oklahoma High School Honor Society, Muskogee Phoenix Academic All-Star, Oklahoma Academic Scholar, and many academic team awards.
After graduation, Cody plans to attend Northeastern State University and major in Psychology.
Sarah is the daughter of Chuck and Shari Smithson and the granddaughter of Leo and the late Margaret Smithson, and Lonnie and the late Norma Haughey.
High school activities and honors include Muskogee Phoenix Academic All-Star Top 30, Big 8 Basketball All-Conference First Team 2008, Fast and Slow-Pitch Softball, Student Council, National Honor Society and Superintendent’s Honor Roll.
After graduation Sarah plans to attend either Northeastern State University or Connors State College.
