Published May 18, 2009 09:31 pm - Taft trustees hold emergency meeting Taft Town Board held an emergency meeting Saturday to name trustees who can sign the signature card at the bank to write checks with the town treasurer.
The five-member board has been pared to three after Eugene Curl moved to Haskell and Patricia Simpson has been absent and out of state since December. Any of the remaining trustees — Lelia Davis, Elaina Lyday and Debra Culton — have permission to sign checks with Treasurer Hazel Shipp, Davis said.
