Taft trustees hold emergency meeting

— Taft Town Board held an emergency meeting Saturday to name trustees who can sign the signature card at the bank to write checks with the town treasurer.
The five-member board has been pared to three after Eugene Curl moved to Haskell and Patricia Simpson has been absent and out of state since December.
Any of the remaining trustees — Lelia Davis, Elaina Lyday and Debra Culton — have permission to sign checks with Treasurer Hazel Shipp, Davis said.
