Q&A with Okies from Muskogee Scott and Leigh Ann Matthews Scott: “I’d hate to pick one out — there are so many.”
Leigh Ann: “I can’t pick one, there are too many good people here.” WHAT’S THE MOST MEMORABLE THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU SINCE YOU HAVE LIVED IN MUSKOGEE? “We have an awful lot of good memories here. Our wedding — we danced in the pig trough. But the best thing of all was the birth of our children. We’ve been blessed.” HOW WOULD YOU SUM UP MUSKOGEE IN 25 WORDS OR LESS? Scott: “Although we’ve seen some of the most beautiful country you’ll ever see — this is it — home.” Leigh Ann: “It’s been a wonderful place to raise our family, and even though we travel to a lot of other places, it’s always great coming home.”
