OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs (OCPA) awarded a $5,000 scholarship to Peter Harlin as part of their annual Citizenship Essay Contest.
Peter's essay was chosen from among 250 submissions to receive this honor. He is also the fourth person in his family to receive a scholarship from OCPA. High school seniors across Oklahoma were asked to answer the following question, "What United States President has had the greatest and most positive impact on our society?"
"As Oklahoma's free-market think tank, we are always looking for ways to build up a new generation of conservative leaders by reaching out to Oklahoma's youth." said Hopper Smith, OCPA President. "In fact, the contest, one of our most popular programs, was designed specifically for this purpose."
