• Accepting bids for wastewater treatment chemicals and road materials.
• Audit services for fiscal year 2009 with CBEW Professional Group, LLP, not to exceed $51,500.
• Entering into an agreement with CommunityCare HMO, Inc. for Employee Assistance Program services at the rate of $0.71 per employee per month. Program provides counseling to city employees if they request it, Buckley said.
• Tabling action on resolution of support to include local incentives of at least $14,001 for the Muskogee Housing Assistance Corporation’s North Trail scattered sites tax credit application.
• Accepting the Land & Water Conservation Grant Award of $44,367.50 for Spaulding Park Project, Phase II.
• Accepting Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality permit for the construction of the Muskogee Water Treatment Plant Expansion to 32 million gallons per day.
• Awarding construction contracts of $37,380 and $31,100 to Cook Construction & Crane Service Inc., for water lines to serve Armed Forces Reserve Center at Davis Field.
• Accepting bid of $501 per month from Ron Stambaugh for lease of T-201 hangar located at Davis Field Airport. Hangar previously rented for $450 per month, said Mike Stewart, public works director.
• Resolution authorizing the continuation of the solid waste improvement account fund. The fund will be used to purchase more polycarts for the city and to replace the shed at the recycling center with an air conditioned facility that includes a restroom.
• Authorizing paperwork for the city’s application to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce Small Cities Set Aside Grant Fund Program for $96,435. The funds will be used to demolish derelict properties, said Tish Callahan, assistant planning director.
