A Muskogee man was sentenced to three years in federal prison on drug charges, according to a media release from Sheldon J. Sperling, United States attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Darreon A. Davis, 23, was sentenced to 36 months imprisonment, followed by 36 months of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, also known as crack cocaine.
Charges arose from an investigation by the Muskogee Police Department, the Muskogee County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI, Sperling said.
“On June 25, 2007 and July 1, 2007, Davis sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant,” Sperling said.
Davis was indicted in November 2008 and pled guilty in December 2008.
