A Muskogee man was sentenced Wednesday to more than 11 years in prison on a drug related charge.
David Robertson, 61, will serve 135 months in prison to be followed by 60 months of supervised release for manufacture of methamphetamine.
“Charges arose from an investigation by the Muskogee Police Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the United States Postal Inspection Service,” said U.S. Attorney Sheldon J. Sperling.
Robertson was indicted on Sept. 18, 2008 along with Stephen Mounger, 46, of Muskogee. Mounger pled guilty in May 2009 to importation of controlled substances. Robertson pled guilty in November 2008.
“The two defendants were part of a drug trafficking organization in which MOUNGER imported wholesale quantities of pseudoephedrine from overseas, and Robertson manufactured the methamphetamine from his residence over a two year period,” Sperling said.
