At its regular meeting Tuesday, the Muskogee Public Works and Finance Committees approved:

• Tabling request from Memorial Christian Church to rezone property at 4200 W. Okmulgee Ave. from single family residential to office and personal service district. A medical office building is planned for the 1.83-acre site.

• Request from Jeanne Rogers Trust to rezone property at 3505 Chandler Road from single family residential to office and personal service district. The application proposes locating an office complex on 29,500 square feet.

• Request from Danny Nevitt to rezone property at 1206 Illinois Ave. from single family residential to multi-family residential. The proposal will add units for older people on 1.2 acres.

• Request of DBL P LLC to rezone property at 104 N. York St. from single family residential to office and personal service district. The property has been used as office and storage units for 30 years, but the zoning has never been changed, according to the proposal.

• Request of city treasurer to destroy records not required to be kept any longer: warrant registers from fiscal year 1980-1981 and 1997-1998; requisitions and invoices from fiscal year 2000-2001 and 2001-2002; expired property and liability insurance documents, not including documents relating to workers compensation.

• Appointing Diane Plunkett to the non-uniform retirement committee replacing Shawn Erie.

• The report of claims for July 16 through Aug. 3.

• Authorizing Ideal Construction Co. to proceed with emergency repairs at the water treatment plant to include repairs to the 30-inch finished water line and the 48-inch settled water line and flume, on a time and material basis. Estimated cost: $225,000.
