Students in the program can earn 12 credit hours over 12 weeks. “We will offer one class at a time, three weeks each, students are here for all four class modules. Duncan said he expects 24 students to be involved in the program. “We’ll keep class ratios small,” he said. Area colleges have not yet started class, though enrollment is underway. Classes at Connors State College start Monday, but enrollment will be open until Aug. 29. Connors President Dr. Donnie Nero said he projects enrollment to rise some, but remain between 2,100 and 2,200. At Northeastern State University, spokesman Sean Michael Kennedy said officials have no projections for 2008 fall enrollment. Enrollment for fall 2007 was 9,261. Spring enrollment for 2008 was 8,442.
